We hope you will want to be an active part of all KHPCO activities. Please remember that all KHPCO members’ staff members and/or volunteers are welcome to join our activities.
Monthly Member Meetings, by phone. We sometimes have special guests and there are always reports from KHPCO work group chairs. This is a great time for sharing with one another, networking, and identifying issues of importance for KHPCO members.
Public Policy, Regulatory and Legislative Action: The KHPCO work group keeps members updated on issues of legislative and regulatory importance and calls for special action as needed.
Education: In addition to the summer meeting, we sponsor webinars focused on key issues of great importance to hospices.
Payor Issues: KHPCO continues to follow, share and engage members in addressing issues with all payor sources. We work together to best assure that hospice care is fairly reimbursed and adequately represented; and we work to address concerns at the state level.
Veterans’ Outreach: KHPCO continues to work to improve engagement with and service to Veterans.
KHPCO Newsflash: This KHPCO newsletter gives members an awareness of what is being said about hospice in popular media and professional journals. These items are not edited; they are provided to members so that KHPCO leaders know what is being said by and about hospices.
KHPCO Updates: These periodic updates share the latest news of interest to KHPCO members.
KHPCO Member Directory and Website: We continue to maintain and develop our website and directory and welcome member input.
We value your participation in KHPCO. Our unity in action, our dialogue on key issues, and our advocacy for Kansas citizens, is so important. Many issues confront hospice providers and KHPCO members work together to address these issues.
